“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way fulfill the law of Christ” Gal.6:2

 

The Benevolence fund, supported by voluntary contributions received by any entity wishing to contribute to the fund, exists to provide financial assistance in times of hardship to ease financial burdens of church attenders and community members.

Anyone in financial need who is requesting assistance, must complete the application attached. After it has been printed and filled out, please submit it for review to Jim Horning, or mail it to the Benevolence Fund in care of P.O.Box 460, Freeman, SD 57029. Follow up questions or clarifications may be made, if applicable, and a decision will be made as to the urgency and legitimacy of the need as well as the amount of the aid.

Any payments from the fund’s checking account will be made after the requested documentation has been provided.
